Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. For the past 10 ½ months, she served as a Success Coach for BJA Success For Life Adult Reentry Program. Prior to working with Family Wellness Outreach Center of Georgia BJA Success For Life Adult Reentry Program Ms. Cross worked with Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, Camilla, Georgia and the Department of Corrections until she retired as a Deputy Warden of Care & Treatment in October 2020. She received many hours of leadership training, facilitation training, Post Certified Corrections Officer Training, among lots of other training. Ms. Cross received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work from Albany State University in 1994. She completed coursework for a Masters in Criminal Justice in 1996 from Albany State University. She is the mother of 3 sons and 1 daughter, the proud grandmother of 5 grandsons and 4 granddaughters and 1 very active great grandson. Ms. Cross is passionate about helping others. Maranda has gained experience with collecting and analyzing data as well as working with underserved populations throughout her career. She has been trained to facilitate various evidenced-based curricula and has gained knowledge in sexual risk avoidance education and healthy relationships. She is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. Maranda Canty currently serves as the Program and Data Assistant.
